Winter's 60% disbelief in global warming will with season's change be morphed into Summer's 60% fear that the planet is burning up and will soon be tossed into the sun like an overheated campfire marshmallow. Rejecting science as evil and thus too difficult to comprehend is always sad. However, we must keep The People stupid and ignorant or they might come to understand that it's not about saving jobs at the risk of fouling the earth's atmosphere and the air we breath, but about corporations continuing to fill their offshore accounts with the profits of pollution.

The science of global warming is unsound not because it's theories are unproven by actual weather conditions or patterns, but because it lacks the empirically derived data basis required for proof. The earth's atmosphere is simply too massive to run through a test lab, but therein lies the real scientific problem. Atmospheric scientists simply don't know at what point of pollutant concentration our atmosphere will be beyond the point of recovery. If the concentration gets too high, the volume of fouled air in the earth's atmosphere will be too large to ever be able to clean simply by shutting down the polluters and we likely won't know it until after that point of no return was reached. Then we will be truly fucked like in one of those post-apocalyptic science fiction movies. The answer might then be to find another planet unless engineers can come up with a scrubber big enough. Migrating to a new earth would really freak out the bible thumpers and science haters,...... who should get left behind so that they and their corporate polluter buddies can't fuck up another planet's atmosphere.

Except for the fact that it isn't getting warmer and the ice caps aren't melting, your argument has merit.
