This years recruiting is looking pretty good so far. Another 7-6 or worse season will undo all of that. There will be mass decommitments and our class will look like Rick's final class at UCLA (minus Hundley). If Sark can somehow make a run this class will be ridiculously good and guys like Lewis will be asked to look elsewhere.

This is why Woodward needs to pay attention to recruiting. If it starts falling off in November and continues then you have no choice but to make a change.
Disagree. That type of thinking is what bought Ty another season and thus 0-12 happened. Remember "We can't fire Ty he is putting together a great class".
If Emmert would have dropped the HAMMER on Ty after year 3, we could have lost Fivestario Middleton. It clearly wasn't worth the risk.

    Fivestario! That's awesome.

From the Duck perspective - we were told by Biggins that UO led for Lockett. He himself had stated that we were his leader.

Just sharing some PREMIUM CONTENT! Really, he's a kid that Oregon's coaches are high on. Look at our secondary. They know their shit. Clearly your coaches are on the ball as well.

No gloating or WDWHA, he's a fantastic talent and I kind of hope he flips back to us before February.

Multiple poasters falsely assumed I was implying Woodward look at recruiting in a vacuum.

Ty should have been fired regardless. It was a political decision to retain him and they tried to use recruiting as a reason. Had they fired his ass they'd have kept all the in-state guys anyway.

The point here is if Sark goes 8-4 or 8-5 and recruiting has peaked, then recruits are voting down on the regime and its a legitimate reason to make major changes even tho a fair share of fans will tout 5<7<7<7<8.

Hint: Recruiting doesn't matter as much as player development does.

Pool Boy shouldn't fire Sark cause of lack of recruiting but cause Sark is a terrible coach.

Post committing to UW - there have been two reactions - one, a kind of modified WDWHA, in that UO is loaded at CB and we might not have had room for him, or, two, that the kid just really enjoyed his visit to Seattle and decided to commit. Either way, he's a great get for UW and will almost certainly contribute early. Lots of people on the UO premium boreds had nice things to say about him and he was certainly on our coaches' board (not to be confused with bored).

No one really gives a fuck about the duck perspective, or the duck premium boreds.

Hint: Banner > Eldenkramp, Garnett > Hindy, Williams > Shelton

Terrible recruiting on the OL has forced kids to play early which has stunted development and growth potential. The same is true of the DL though that won't be an issue after this season.

There are a plethora of reasons Sark won't last as he head coach anyway. I think the biggest is he sucks as an OC.
