Never understood the Kwat hate. The main reason his defenses gave up a good amount of points in big games is because the offense couldn’t sustain a drive and the defense had to be out there for 384 series.
He was pretty shit early in year 1 with UW as well then turned it around quickly.
Impressed by Kwat that half. Maybe he has his guys in there
Pete kicking Kwat to the curb for Lake was the beginning of the end for 2/3 of those coaches
Pete didn’t kick PK to the curb. PK offered to let Jimmy take the Co-DC title to help keep Jimmy from leaving. A rare Selfless move and a big motivation for PK eventually choosing to LEAVE

Kwat was easily the best coordinator we have had in a long time…. But Dennis and Coker hated him because he was white, liked to fish, and wasn’t on Twitter.

PK didn’t have the LBs (thx B Gregory) needed to effectively run the 2-4-5. Once Azeem and KB left, the D went down.

And Greg Gaines
Him too. #Gainsey
You can’t win punting on position groups. My biggest beef with Pete. Huge talent disparancies among position groups. He never changed, never adapted. Then he quit. FTG
Classic Sark. Has had success running the ball all game. Loses the lead… pass pass pass punt. Some things never change. All his scoring drives were lead with some good runs.
