Flat screen TVs

Do we really need to say "flat screen" anymore? Aren't they just TVs? Much like all chaps are assless, all TVs are flat screen.

Then I'd submit we can just say TV unless it's curved. Then we say curved screen TV. My guess is that gimmick won't last long anyway.
