You can get an online degree today for a fraction of the cost of a major college state university (Oregon and Washington weren't giving discounts on online instruction during extended chicom crud shutdowns). You can get Lasik eye surgery today for a fraction of the cost 15 years ago for corrective eye surgery. Can't escape US and state and local housing regulations unless you move to the third world and then you can buy or rent cheap like Costa Rica or Portugal.
