No mention of the Fifty Shades of Grey that put WSU Vancouver on the erotic map?

    From WSU Vancouver site:

“ No longer is WSU Vancouver simply an extension campus of Washington State University. It has its own claim to fame: the establishment responsible for introducing Ana and Christian Grey, and beginning one of the most erotic trilogies of the decade.”

Street Wise - Oscar nominated documentary about street kids in the early 80's.

I remember watching this in junior high or high school. The prank pizza delivery scam was genius.

Kevin Bacon filmed a movie near Westlake in 90 or 91. No idea what the movie was, just remember my high school GF met him when she worked at some food place in westlake mall.

I was an extra in American heart. True story. Not a joke

I got paid $110 to sit in the stands at my high school gym forever at Jimmy Lake High for Vision Quest. But only half of me made the cut for not even a split second. The only reason I knew that Half of man was me, was because Heather, who was sitting next to me made the cut for about a second.

It’s amazing how long it takes for movies to come out. As it was almost 2 years after that, when the Film (ILTSF instead of movie) was finally released to the theatres.

Oh. And Forest Whitaker would have school lunch in the cafeteria with us, on the reg.

Knew about half the wrestlers in the moviefilm. Bunch of Mead guys.

One of whom allegedly slept with Linda Fiorentino.

I bumped into Kevin Beacon on the Ave when they filmed “Singles”. I guess my degrees to Kevin Beacon is zero. He wasn’t in the movie his gf/wife was.

That might be when the high school GF met him.

10 Things I Hate About You was filmed in T-town, but not sure if it was portrayed as actually being set in WA State.

I always loved the " I thought you were gonna go to U-dub and be a husky" line.
