I said Omicron was a cold, Delta was deadly to the unvaccinated....[The very old and those with several comorbidities - others, it was the flu] Omicron not so much. CDA had huge problems with Delta, our hospital was full I was taking the nurses to the hospital from their hotel's as FEMA had a strike team here it was so bad... in talking to them the major problems were the unvaccinated....
Once Omicron took over it all changed and our hospital is empty.
Yes agree older 50 years plus or ill... but it was still very deadly compared to Omicron which is not for anyone except the really old like 75 plus.
Kootenai wss full due to "abundance of caution" admissions and 20-35k government cheese per patient.
That's why the feds sent fema in to a red state right? They were sending patients to Spokane right and left.
They told me about one that died in transit that was sent to Boise too since Spokane was fairly full at the time too... my point is Delta and original covid were bad for the unvaccinated that were older than 50... Omicron not even close and Mike's own icu stats bear that out as well.

You still don't understand what we're taking about.

How do I not, your own graph showed how bad the ICU was under original covid and Delta and not much even now under Omicron... that's the whole point... to keep people out of the ICU

I responded to your quote of seing nothing wrong here with what I was talking about in the other thread about Omicron...
As to the first post, their winter of darkness line is crap.

You posted a graphic about the hospilization going up, but in it it showed ICU as well. The ICU numbers spiked under old covid and Delta... and not now... your graph proved my damn point, that Omicron is not close to as bad as delta or original covid.

That Delta was (allegedly) more extreme in terms of the illness of the host is diametrically opposed to how viruses normally mutate.
One of the more intriguing anomalies of the pandemic.

It was less virulent than original covid.... but more contagious so numbers were close. Which is exactly what you would expect.

You fell for the media relative risk trap. Something that is twice as deadly on a less than 1% basis is a fucking rounding error on a small sample size. Actual risk reduction was basically zero. Statistical analysis isn’t your thing.
I just look at numbers don't need the media to do it for me... it shows after 50 it gets worse, then 60, then 70 and really bad above 80 or compromised....
But under 50 there was a very small number so you could argue a vaccine was worthless to them especially under 30 unless compromised.

What does “worse” and “really bad” mean? Be specific.
