Cases are high hospitalization and deaths are not.
So I have you down for the believing the CDC bullshit.
In Washington It’s down from the omicron spike in Nov/Dec of 2021. But slightly down today with what it was for the first 18 months of lockdowns and hysterics. About the same or slightly higher as it was from April -August last year and in 2020 when media and government was still going hard on firing people and restrictions. And since the money has dried up I’m 100% sure how cases are counted has changed. Remember dying “with covid”?
What happened to “if it saves one life”? And “abundance of caution”? Elections and politics…that’s what happened.
If you want your head in the sand fine, but plenty of people died before the vaccine and then when delta came out... most the delta were unvaccinated... once Omicron came out not so much... and no I am not a fan of the cdc, bur I don't have my head in the sand either.
As to the stats from Washington. Every state is different.
And if you were fat old or immune compromised Covid was very bad... if not you mainly were fine... the vaccine helped that big time but did not stop the virus from spreading after it mutated.

So your response to deaths for 2020, 2021 and 2022 in late spring and summer being about the same, but in 2022 the CDC media and government just decides to bag it all, while going apeshit during the 2 years prior is “every state is different”. Disagree, you do have your head in the sand and sound like you agree with the what the CDC did then and is doing now. Plenty of people are dying now. What happened to “if it saves on life”.
They aren't about the same.... and do a graph of vaccinated deaths vs unvaccinated deaths after April 2021...
Most of the deaths especially under Omicron were people dying with covid not from.
Dying “with covid” was a money maker. The money dried up. It’s not being coded that way as much now.
Hospitalizations on the rise. Higher than a year ago at this time. And 2020 at this time. The CDC saying “fuck it” makes sense to you I guess because the lockdowns worked in your mind and things changed now. To those who knew the lockdowns were bullshit from day 1 it makes sense as well because all of that was political and didn’t make any fucking difference. Now they just say "nevermind”. Go back to 2019.
On the rise, but nothing close to the past and look at ICU numbers, that's the real issue.... people may need to be in the hospital for a few days for oxygen my best friends 2 year old was... but wasn't near the danger as the past.

So I have you down for the CDC saying we're good and go back to normal is warranted based on stats. Excellent. Even though deaths and hospitalization are equal to the same time period in 2020 and 2021 as this summer. Got it.
Keep in Omicron didn't hit the US until December and wasn't dominant until January that's why you see the drop off then. I've had both delta was nasty Omicron a walk in the park

You're saying the lowdowns and "if it saves one life" policies were effective and worth all of the consequences and now things have changed so much from this tone in 2021 and 2020 the CDC is spot on by telling people to just do what is best for them. Got it.
If I was running things I would never have mandated anything I would have given the facts and maybe said it's a good idea to get the vaccine(the numbers show for certain populations it was 100% necessary) but it's your choice as any medical choice should be.
I was first and right that mass vaccination was going to lead to more cases and mutations and that the government was going to deliberately ignore natural immunity because it went against their control mechanism.

That was a long route to take when you could have just said "Damone is right"
