NYC Mayor Adams tried to flex on Texas sending illegals to his city by saying he would send busloads back to Dallas- who wants to tell him they are already leaving on their own?

Interesting to see that California, New York and Illinois are the three states with the largest exodus of high wage earners. Odd how successful people don't want to live in liberal paradises? It's weird that they would choose to move to deplorables country in places like Florida, Texas and Tennessee. I was told that liberal policies make places like California and New York the best places to live, but it appears that mostly poor people who want free shit are the ones who agree with that.

To be fair it's your mid to high wage earners that benefit the most from leaving. Poor people will still have a shitty time anywhere and super rich people it doesn't really make a huge difference

The super rich have the capability to conceal their personal income.

It’s the high earning professionals in the 400k-750k that are going to get slaughtered in places like King and Multnomah counties.

And that is the real tax base. Those are the people that really make sure there are school bus drivers and clean public parks and functioning police and FD.

Once they leave, the burden will have to fall on the middle class in those states, and at the federal level, the DNC will have 87000 new IRS agents to chase everyone around and take their money.

This is a Biden jobs program…the Expansion of the scope and power of the federal government. Anyone that actually believes they needed 50b just to rehire the people they’d lost over the last 3 years is incredibly naive/stupid/willfully ignorant.

It's a political hiring campaign. Who do you think they'll be auditing? It's not about revenue.

Leaving for a non-income tax state like Texas or Florida is like an easy 10% increase in your after-tax income.
