You think that phat phuck is up to actually taking away guns? Hope his wife and kids get a load of that video and can be proud of his service for the country. Geezus.

Awesome! You'd think he'd follow commands! Funny thing is he never said what agency etc. Many ATF people are not federal agents as they are not sworn just employees.

Only shitty thing is the Fed is suing (and will win almost assuredly) and will probably be a millionaire out of this. Still funny watching his Gestapo ass get tased.

He never showed ID and every federal agent I have seen wears a badge on their belt. Why didn't he make it visible? Probably didn't have one.

Emotional trauma. Like a bitch. Actual suit is for "excessive force."

Well, if I'm on the jury I would be asking why he didn't get tased from the start. Hell, I'd pay to taz that dufus.

Guess he should've complied and not actively defied orders.

“I’m a federal agent.” I hear that works when LEO arrives and have no idea who you are.

    What a dumbfuck.

The “Federal Agent” is not in a position to argue with the uniformed and identifiable peace officers. What a dumb fuck! “I have a medical condition.”

The Fed will not win an “excessive force claim.” The peace officers acted within the scope of their employment. He failed to comply and should have known better. All training is directed to do exactly the opposite of what he did. Do what you’re told immediately. Sort it out later.

The Fed can file a stress claim with the Department of Labor and after a lengthy process, it will most likely be approved and he can go on the public dole.

Dumb asshole. Going out and doing a “compliance” check by himself. Poor officer safety.

Strange he didn't let the locals know an agent was there to take a firearm from a prohibited person that miraculously passed ATF's background check. It's LE practice to notify the local agency when you go there to do a LE activity so shit like this doesn't happen. L.A. has a "war room" where one calls into for just this reason while working cases.

Protocol but more importantly, common sense. The cops did what their job.

I heard a local cop once mention some national system used by federal/state/local LEOs that notifies each other when they're doing active investigations in the an area. It started after a few incidents where some agencies were doing sting operations and ended up targeting each other.

Basically, it's used to avoid this kind of thing. He mentioned it in some comment about how they have to check it all the time given all the border trafficking enforcement investigations done around here. I'm guessing dipshit didn't use it that day.

The War Room in L.A. is exactly that but it is Kali based. It's mostly used for narcotics and major investigations. When a doper would land at a location we would call that in to the war room. They would let us know if any other agency had put that location in on a previous investigation. Kept us from selling/buying dope from each other. Dangerous thing. We would contact the agency and see if it was an active investigation and if not if we could go up on that spot.

Also entered addresses for criminal investigations.

When going to other cities to contact anyone the address would be checked with the war room and a call placed to the local agency so shit like this ATF dork doesn't happen.
