    Years ago a buddy and I got accosted by a pack of youths. I pulled from my extensive watching of movies to look at the leader and say

    You may have enough to take us but you're dying tonight if you try

    It worked lol

    Saw the same punk at South Shore by himself and he took off running
    The Marines teach that when outnumbered you need to violently take out the leader, quickly and mercilessly. And by violently, I mean eye gouging, ripping off ears, crushing throats, etc. Ideally, they remain conscious so their screams add to the psychological trauma.
