Trump had a history of moving to the right. Betsy Johnson, while a gun rights supporter doesn't have a track record or at least put it out there, and she didn't join the Republicans, she is going independent. She ws a democratic state senator as long ago as 2021. And unlike Trump which sh*t on the left every chance he could get, the Johnson ad praises the Democrats for being "compassionate". While abortion isn't a voting issue for me, Johnson is an abortion absolutist. There will be an interesting fight with Republican Drazan as she is an anti-abortion absolutist. Her best defense will be Johnson supporting abortion in the ninth month. -
Oregon will never ever elect a Republican again. Same with WA and CA. The West Coast elites are East Coast wannabes.
