Interesting Sankey stat per ESPN.

Bishop Sankey had 83 rushes in which he was not contacted until at least 5 yards past the line of scrimmage, 15 more than any other AQ running back.

Not overly shocked. Sankey has the best vision of any running back I've ever seen. Dude knows how to find the hole.

We're returning the entire OL and plugging in Cooper/Washington/Coleman/Callier, not to mention we've seen Miles run with the ball.

We should be pretty good on the ground again this year.

I hated Cozzetto and the narrative was always that Polk and Sankey were so good despite the shitty OL. I don't think that is entirely true. Cozzetto was the run game coordinator and knew what the fuck he was doing scheme wise. That's why Johnny Nansen could be the RB coach and it didn't even matter. Cozzetto was the real RB's coach. He was also the RB's coach at OSU when Ken Simonton was killing it. We should have hired a better OL coach and made Cozzetto RB coach when Joel Thomas left.

I've always felt Cozzetto was a bigger influence than he gets credit for.

I am not as close as some, so I just see two kick ass running backs fucking kill it for 5 years ... and know there has to be more than just two of the best ever coming in back to back.

Was the OL was shitty at pass-blocking but always good at run-blocking? That's how I remember it.

Yeah, we've been very good at run blocking, even in the dreckfest '12 year when Keith was running for his life every play because he didn't trust Sark enough.
