Great hitter. Forgot about him. He was dominant when he was on the Indians.

Joey is not OKG…a classic example of “We’ll overlook it because he can mash”…Stanozolol is a helluva drug

The Indians had some magical seasons when the M's were in peak magical form

Cleveland ended the dream in 95 then lost to the Braves who couldn't beat anyone else in the WS

Then lost to the Marlins in 7 in 97

The highlight was losing to the Cubs in 16

That 95 line up was ridiculous

Belle was a pretty thick dude, but I would've put the baseball in his earhole after that shot.

Brett will always be my all time favorite. I jumped on the bandwagon late in 1980 when he was flirting with .400 and never jumped off. The 1985 season, playoffs, and series were the happiest days I've ever had as a baseball fan.

A lot of people never knew that Brett was a good athlete early in his career and hit, I think, 20 triples in a season once. He was also a quality 3b prior to injuries.

George Brett is my all tim favorite position player. I will probably draw some fire for this, but George was Pete Rose without the "Look at me, I'm Pete Rose"...Have had some interaction with the Brett Bros. over the years, and some pretty funny stories.

A friend of mine, who was a highly successful and respected coach (since RIP'ed) had tix next to the Royals dugout in the Kingdome for a game, and gave George shit every time he came out to the on deck circle. This coach was hilarious, and had one of the sharpest tongues I've ever heard. The story goes, Brett was like 2-3, coming up for the fourth AB, my guy was giving it to him, and as he banged the donut off to go to the plate, turns around laughing, and says "Fuck you, watch this". He homered, and high-fived my friend through the fence on the way back...CSB
