That defense on Paul has really worked well so far.......Paul has 17 already.
Brooks is a shitty coach and this is why I thought the Clippers have a chance in this series. -
I'm still sticking with the Thunder. It's only one game, and they could come back, but yeah, Brooks is a fucking idiot.He_Needs_More_Time said:That defense on Paul has really worked well so far.......Paul has 17 already.

That's why I picked OKC in 7. I think in a 7 game series Durant will be too much but this is why I laughed at DHDawg for saying the home team will win out this series.RoadDawg55 said:

I think each team steals a game on each others court. The question is can the Clippers steal two? -
Profiles in courage here, but I'm taking the Clips in six.

Tough to get a real gauge from this game. Chris Paul is a 36% three point shooter. He's 7-7 and having the best shooting game of his career. The Clippers are 10-18 from 3. They are killing the Thunder, but they won't shoot this well again. It should be a great series.

On the flip side you could say they are getting boat raced even though both Durant and Westbrook are playing well.RoadDawg55 said:Tough to get a real gauge from this game. LIPO on both sides. I think this series is going 6 minimum and probably going 7. -
yep, the clippers are shooting out of their minds. On the other hand most of those shots have been wide open. Another thing to take away is the Thunder have 14 TO's to the clippers 4.
Still, Thunder in 7 -
yes I was wrong. So what I'm happy about itHe_Needs_More_Time said:

My Clippers in 6

Clippers killed them with ball movement and exposed the fact that OKC doesn't have a lot of great on ball defenders. They have speed and length ... but Westbrook's been getting schooled defensively all night only to demand the ball going the other way to try to get even. That will NEVER work out for OKC.
Only part of this game that's been better than watching the Clippers school a 1 on 1 team on the art of ball movement and team play has been watching the FS OKC crowd complain about the officiating. When you get boatraced by 30 and are going to give up 130+, it's not the ref's fucking fault. -
True. The defense has been terrible.dhdawg said:yep, the clippers are shooting out of their minds. On the other hand most of those shots have been wide open. Another thing to take away is the Thunder have 14 TO's to the clippers 4.

OKC crowd I saw a lot of empty seats at mid court even in the 2nd quarter. Very quiet all game long.
Durant 9-19 for 25 points
Westbrook 9 for 14 for 29 points.
Getting boat raced 115-89 has to worry OKC. It's not like the Clippers caught Westbrook and Durant off their game and took advantage. Both played well offensively and still got killed.
OKC has nobody else who can make the Clippers pay. Durant and Westbrook both will have to average 30+ a game this series for them to win. -
Paul is the best guard in this series. Enough said on that.
-
3rd year in the system too. New Scheme and a new attitude! The players have also spoke about the difference between Rivers in 2014 and Del Negro and 2013.CuntWaffle said:Paul is the best guard in this series. Enough said on that.

Don't forget that the Clippers also have DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, Ben Ossai, and "Big Baby" Davis, they weigh in at an average of 332 and are ready to rumble.
-
I like Durant but hate the OKC fans and owners. Hope those country bumpkins and especially that guy with the redneck accent on the framily commercial never see a title.
-
Looks like Rivers' strategy was that he was ok with Durant and Westbrook going off but not letting the supporting cast to get going.
KD and Westbrook had 54 in basically 3 quarters and other than the first 4 minutes weren't in the game at all. That'd be a bad sign for most NBA Coaches ... and we know that Scott Brooks FS isn't most NBA Coaches.
