We are pissing and moaning about bad football. Most people have a style of play they prefer, even coaches. Alabama, LSU, Michigan State, and Stanford are still mostly playing power football (you call it vertical). It seems to be working out fine for them. I have no problem with the spread or no huddle, but you don't have to run it to be successful. Even with the majority of offenses running some variation of the spread, it's still football. Games are won by being the better team up front and winning the turnover battle. It's a complicated yet very simple game.
If we were winning 10 games every season with Sark, what the fuck are naysayers going to say? A lot of people disliked Sark for a number of different reasons, but it all boiled down to the fact that he didn't win enough games. Sure, sometimes there was some nitpicking with Sark, but he wasn't a very good coach.
A lot of it isn't bitching and moaning either. It's called analysis, which is one of the reasons this board is here. It's to discuss what's going on in the games. We could be 12-2 next year, but it's not going to be pie in the sky bullshit. You have doogman for that. I like being able to discuss things with the posters here. I love the Petersen hire, but I will still get mad at giving up a 3rd and 10 or punting on 4th and 1 from mid field. We analyzed the Seahawks too and they ended up being SuperBowl Champs. Analyzing, bitching, being irrational at times, etc. It's part of being a fan.
I've said enough about Sloppy Steve and more importantly, this is going to be a great ride for the next 15 years or so. 2015 may be just ok but Husky Football is now locked and loaded to blow up. I expect at least 10-11 regular season wins this year because we finally have a real head coach again for the first time in a long time (was Neuheisel Sarkisian with a Rose Bowl?).
Spot on Derek. I used to be able to name every player and number, now I couldn't name a dozen players. Thanks Willingham for that......Sark didn't inspire me either.
+1
I'm not sure there's any recovering from this, though. I'll gaf about the outcomes again, but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to care as much as I did before Ty took a ginormous shit all over my fandom.
That's true. Husky Football is like that beautiful wife who you loved and saw no faults in her. Then she got chubby and cheated on you. Now she's back on track to being beautiful again and faithful. However, you'll never trust her again.

#1 is always the QB is the best player on the field enough said about that. Third year in the system will do everything he can to win this game.
#2 is about the OL weighing an average weight of 332 lbs. Ready to Rumble and you better fucking include Ossai.
#3 is the players have spoken about the differences between Coach in this year and the coach previous year.
