We’re in the middle of a wave. Had covid first week of Jan. Just had it again last week. Felt like really bad allergies, antigen test to be safe before going to a party, popped positive. Took it easy for a couple days, no fever no headache, took all the supplements and vitamins.

Back to normal now. Nobody is going to take official tests this time around. Vaccine efficacy is going into the negative, but I don’t think anyone’s paying attention unless people start dying.

I’m thankful I have an immune system and have access to $5 in generic early treatment meds, it could have been much worse if I relied on big pharma instead of doctors.

Would you test for a cold?
I felt sick and we were about to hang out with 50+ people in someone’s house. Who fucking knows if it was covid or a false positive, back to normal now, life goes on.
So will you test for Covid every time you have a runny nose and if you're negative go to the gathering?

Just trying to figure out peoples mindset around this.

1.Don't feel well and have cough runny nose
    2. Plans to attended a 50 person gathering at a home.
    3. Take a Covid test
    4. If it's positive stay home
    5. If negative go to party even though I'm sick with something unknown

    Is that where we are?

If the answer is to #5 is: I'm negative for Covid but I'm sick with something unknown so I'm not going to the party, the next logical question is: why test?

    What am I missing?
Was already not feeling up to being out, speculated I should possibly test, did and it confirmed what I already wanted to do. Rested up and hit the pills for 3 days and was back at it on Monday.

Another wrinkle in shitholes like Texas, really bad spring allergies, very hard to draw the line between heavy allergies and a cold.

Many people are social with bad congestion, irritated eyes, and sneezing because it’s assumed to be allergies.

I have a 104 degree fever and coughing up blood nonstop. However I tested NEGATIVE for COVID so I’m going to attend a 100+ person birthday party.

Sounds like a super spreader event. Hope you don’t get sick while you’re there.
