Almost went with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

    Waterworld was so fucking awful.

Baseball is the sport with the highest ratio of movie awesomeness to actual awesomeness, and Costner's been in several. For Love of the Game is underrated.

Bull Durham tried to walk a fune line between a man baseball movie and a chick flick with baseball as a sidebar. It stepped over the line way too many times to be a truly great movie. When they stuck to baseball and man stuff though, even the garter belt under the uniform shit, it was as good as any sports movie ever for my $ and a truly great comedy. Costner kills that role. Basically it's the same guy he plays in all his good movies.

F.O. Row Peter Puffer, you left off...
You left off The Big Chill, arguably his best acting.

A movie was made to be sympathetic of my Native American blood brothers… And @Swaye votes against it… How many casinos do we have to give you?!!!

The pole was for Costners greatest role, not the best movie Costner was in. HTH

There's something extremely relatable about Crash Davis's character when he realizes his dream is over, he hits his last dinger, then quits and just wants to drink and fuck Annie for awhile, until he figures out his next steps. Been there, done that. I'm sure we all have, tbh.
