Probably cuts too close for most on this bored. I laughed. That's the first South Park I've watched in several years after burning out on their endless political commentary episodes. Their best work is the stuff like when Stan rents a porno and it ends up in the kid's movie rental box, etc.

I haven't seen the full episode yet.
The clip just resonated with me since I moved during the pandemic to one of the most popular remote work towns in America.
I don't have a Tesla, but I do have a metal bottled water thingy and buy La Croix.

Fucked up my memory. It was Randy who rented the porno, obviously.

I didn't watch the video and don't know the reference. I've always felt like I should binge watch SP episodes because I know they're great, but I haven't watched it in years.

The beard and I were talking about some questions our daughter asked about why some thot on YouTube had a huge ass or some such thing, and I was reminded of the South Park episode in which all of the girls in class Photoshop themselves to get hot and Kanye West comes to terms with the fact that he's marrying a hobbit. While looking for the episode, I was scrolling through the episodes in that season, and I remembered just how awesome most of them were. I've seen every episode through about season 10 at least a half dozen times (used to watch--mostly listen--to them while driving to and from work), but I've only seen the later episodes once each when they aired.
I had a sudden urge to start in about the middle of the series and watch through them again. Some real gems in those middle to late seasons!

Here's another great clip...
The Satire of the Real Estate boom in these remote work towns is fucking hilarious.

Also the episodes covering the 2016 election, which my then 16 year old son said were "spot on." (Kid's got a future).
