Putting aside the fact that gillibrand is attempting to post a large campaign donor into a life time judicial position, the most revealing issue is the fact that the donor she has put forth belongs to an all white club.

If any of you have spent time playing golf at some of the most exclusive country clubs in the Northeast, you know the dirty little secret. They don't like admitting blacks or Asians. These are the wealthy of the wealthy liberal elites and they don't like commiserating with people who have different colored skin, black skinned people are beneath them.

Believe it or not, there are also clubs that will not accept Jewish applicants. Seems strange because there is such a large Jewish population in the NE, but elite rats hate Jews as well. It took a lawsuit by Trump to force NE liberals to accept Jewish memberships at his Florida golf course.

I know, I know, its just more of the same but I get a kick out of mocking the hypocritical and racist liberal elites.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand ripped for nominating campaign donor to lifetime judgeship

Gillibrand (D-NY) took in more than $30,000 in contributions from Rearden, and fellow Democrats are also fuming about the judicial candidate’s membership in an “elite” Connecticut country club that has been accused of maintaining a mostly white membership.

President Biden accepted Gillibrand’s recommendation and nominated Rearden in January.

Rearden gave Gillibrand and her political action committee $11,900 after telling the senator she wanted the job, Federal Election Commission filings show — and even hosted “several” fundraisers for Gillibrand at the Midtown offices of her law firm, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.

The Ivy League elitists are all talk but no walk.

It's fine to be the wokiest of the wokest when it comes to admission to Harvard but god forbid a black man get invited to Bushwood.

NE libs are the worst. Always have been. Fuck prep schools, too.

Well, it says mostly white. I know that Tom Watson's Kansas City Country Club in 1990 didn't accept Jews and turned down an application for membership from H&R Block founder, Henry Bloch. Watson, whose wife was Jewish, resigned from the Club. The huge negative national reaction caused the Club to admit Bloch and Watson returned as a member. But that was 32 years ago. Most of that membership is dead. I belonged to a middling country club in the Willamette Valley and it was mostly (95+%) white. It wasn't because of any racial or ethnic animosity. It's just that it takes both money and a love of golf to be in a country club.

Some of the exclusive New York private clubs charge as much a $1 million to join. That's going to mean a "mostly white" membership on a de facto basis.

I have no idea if this club is discriminating, but I doubt it. Certainly, the NY Post reporter also has no idea. Since the article doesn't list the club by name, I expect the Post legal staff said no names, no libel lawsuit.
