Right now, in the dead of winter, many people commute to work and back home in the dark both ways. It sucks and is depressing. I imagine there are a lot of folks stuck in factories, service workers, etc who don't get much of a peek outside all day long. This will at least allow your evening commute to have some daylight.

That’s way better.
Considering it's not dark at sunset, yeah, it is. Don't forget about weekends. We aren't all farmers anymore who need AM light as early as possible.
People forget we tried this before. They forget that. I remember being in 2nd or 3rd grade and they were big safety concerns with kids going to school in the dark. They gave us reflective tape for our coats. People hated it. Nixon wanted to do to supposedly to save energy. It was FS

I agree dump it
Also, it wasn’t started for farmers. Check the facts.

That's the point
My truth is that its for farmers. Please respect that
First - get rid of Mountain Time - doesn't affect that many people anyway
Second - now you have three time zones - get rid of the early and late one and go with Central time. and only Central time
Third - Screw Hawaii and Alaska - they are way behind anyway
Fourth - would not matter if it was CST or CDT everyone would be unhappy - typical Government move
