FO Stalin you left off Marquis Cooper.

I can't pick "best" from the group. Cooper, Butler, and Foster are all special to me for carrying some pretty untalented defenses.

Nobody else ever votes for Butler, so I will. Take him out of Sarks cataclysmic, program changing upset over SC (allowing him to go 5-7 rather than 4-8) and UW loses that game by several scores.

Edit...some other smart guys voted for him before I did so NM what I said.

The 84 team was amazing; I remember the game in dawg stadium where they had so terrorized the AZ QB that after being sacked like 8 times at one point he looked like he was going to have a nervous breakdown he was so rattled

This team then went on to HANDLE Oklahoma offensively…. I was at a party in Malibu with Brian Bosworth and had fun chatting with him about that game… he was saying that they still can’t believe they lost that game,.. he said they had the best offense in the country… I said, you ran into the best defense in the country… Joe Kelly, Ron Holmes, Tim Meamber, Jim Rogers, and Don James

And yah; Kelly was an animal and the smartest linebacker we have had… 11th pick in the first round and 11 seasons in the NFL
