Sending Kameltoe to Munich showed Putin how disengaged the US administration was and how poorly thought out the sanctions to be imposed were and how they weren't communicated to Putin. Initially, both the US (Cho Bai Den and Kameltoe) and Germany were opposed to the banking sanctions and how they assured Putin that there would be no mobilization of the US oil and gas sector and that we would have to continue to import Russian oil.
