Agreed, but the fact that people who thought the Green New Deal was a great idea, and that we could spend our way into prosperity, and that white supremacy is the greatest threat we face represent such and signifcant percentage of our population and aren't just some fringe group of whack jobs who have no influence and even less power shows that our decline is real and not all that different from Western Europe.

We will survive no doubt. The question is, much like someone involved in a serious accident, what will be the long term damage. Then the real damage will be when we have a Repub in the WH, what will the DIMS and Corrupt Media do to hinder the reconstruction.
