A progressive is a Marxist. I guess my take on a classical liberal is someone who had issues with governments imposing their wills upon people. I would say these people questioned authority in general. Most of them believed people were free to live their lives as they chose. However, over time, many of these people stopped questioning the expanse and largesse of government. I'm sure I've missed additional characteristics but I'd like someone to define a conservative.hardhat said:What's a progressive?
