    Not bad if factoring in drug overdoses, suicides, suicides by drug overdose, violent crime, violent suicide by crime, and the overall bad state of the nation.

    But other than that, Covid is almost under control.

    The last two years I personally know a handful of guys who've passed away from OD.

    @pawz uncle is the closest I've been hit with a Covid death.

    Would not shock me at all with Murder, suicide, and OD all up.

    I’ve had 2 coworkers die of heart attacks and 3 have strokes in 2021, anecdotal but significant to me.

    My employer provided term life insurance price went up 10x for 2022 (MetLife), they clearly know somethings up.

    Also 40% up for 18-65yo working people (this is employer provided life insurance) so you can assume that base rate is almost zero.

    I personally don’t want to go down that rabbit hole, but the cognitive dissonance of thinking an insurance CEO doesn’t know what he’s talking about is pretty wild

    I never got the name of the CEO, the company or the baseline data and the increase. Odd.
