    There's a lot more at play here than just a bunch of artists taking a stand. It's always about the money and others want a piece of Spotify. Young knows he doesn't own his music, now he's offering his fans a free 4 month trial on Amazon. Spotify is kicking Amazon's ass. FTG.

    The government is requesting private companies supress speech it doesn't agree with. Nothing criminal in the speech except it exposes the deep state. Sure sounds like NAZI's to me.

    This is turning out to be a very critical battle. Spotify needs to hold its ground, because this might be the last stand for first amendment rights. Yeah, yeah I know the first amendment was meant to protect you from the government, not businesses. However, when the federal government tries to coerce a business to do suppress free speech, that’s a huge problem.

    100% spot on. As Conservative John Hayward said recently regarding cancel culture. “Once you lose Free Speech, you can’t sound the battle cry to defend anything else.” He has a lengthy thread up on defending against CC.
