Imposing a tax and insurance requirement for people that are already responsible in their gun ownership will accomplish nothing. Not to mention this is likely to be held as unconstitutional.

Typical leftards. It's like your local city fining some homeowner for not getting a permit for his beautiful new deck but then ignoring the illegally parked cars and RVs and illegal tent camping in the park across the street from the homeowner. A thousand dead people in Chicago, largely young black men killing young black men because black lives don't matter. That is the problem, but you think any of the gang bangers are going to get insurance or file a tax return?

Real smart. Where do I start…

Most of the gun violence in this country is intentional. Insurance company specific excludes intentional acts from coverage.

Most gun violence is caused by people who own a gun illegally.

So, the responsible gun owner is paying for the illegal acts of criminals. Sounds fair.

Sounds like my car insurance which I have to pay a premium for uninsured motorist coverage.

You have to pay to exercise a constitutional right? Sounds like a democrat plan. Fucking commies don't want us armed so they can hire someone to kill us because they are pussies.
