Should school districts look to hire more non-black teachers because of this? It brings to mind the PSA they're running during NFL games about how blacks all make $10,000 less even when they're doing the same job as whitey. Love to know the evidence for that claim, I suspect that it's the same as the "women only make .74 cents on the dollar" bullshit. But if it were true, why wouldn't I just hire only black folks and pay them that $10K less per year?
