Favorite B-52s album or song?

My favorite is their first album, self titled. Second favorite is Bouncing Off the Satellites. But there's some good stuff inbetween. Their first album has such a raw and authoritative style to it, which is why I rate it their best. Either way, I'm sure we can all agree the band wasn't quite as good once Ricky passed away.

Speaking of which...there's something about Ricky Wilson's in-your-face rhythm guitar playing that never fails to get me in the mood to rock out. RIP. I'm not an encyclopedia of music history, so I won't say he's the greatest of all time. But he's the best rhythm guitar player I've ever heard when looking at the whole picture of sound, skill, composition of the notes/chords he plays, and having a distinctly unique sound. And endurance, too. Shit, I tried to play 52 Girls on my guitar and got tired 45 seconds in. And it was a bit sloppy, too.

There's also something about Cindi Wilson's wailing voice that sends chills down my spine (the good kind). I'd put her up against almost any other vocalist, male or female. Though I will say that there are some songs where her voice doesn't sound that great. But that is generally the case with almost any vocalist.

I know the B-52s have been discussed here before, but I don't recall posting anything about them, and I really wanted to get this all off my chest. Thank you for reading.
