5'9" 200lb RB from New Mexico... Originally a 3 star in the 2021 class. He says he has an offer. IDK, I like our depth at RB. Not sure this kid would ever see the field. looking at his film his level of competition seems pretty low.

I just read he was MVP in Texas HS 6A??? How does a kid like that get to New Mexico?

Coaching is important.

You dont need spectacular coaching to see a RBs power, balance, vision, fight, speed, or quickness against teams like Montana...

All of them are painfully pedestrian and don't do one thing above average.

Rankin ran like crazy on terrible Tyrone Willingham teams. Polk and Sankey tore it up on 5-7 win Sark teams.

The last time the RB room looked so poor was the 0-12 season well over a decade ago.

I'm not 100% sure the current rbs totally suck. It would be retarded not to grab a promising guy or two from the portal though just to hedge bets.

He is good at avoiding the hole and finding the defense. The fumble vs the beav was one of the plays of the year.

Kendall Milton may enter the portal per UGA boards and he’s from Fresno. Deboer and most of our recruiting staff/offensive staff follow him.

I hate to say it, but Richard Newton, Sean McGrew, and Cam Davis were collectively the worst starting RB in the Pac 12, and two of those three are currently in co-drivers' seat to start next year. Jones would be leveling up.

Maybe someone better can be had though. Hopefully...
