UW Is seriously fucked. You all realize that right? The Don James sanctions have nothing on this disaster. Good luck the rest of the way.
It’s easier to accept it though knowing that college football is ded.
You mean you're not excited about a mini NFL with less talented players? BTP is stoked!!! Just win baby !
Exactly, win fucking football games. You're a fag.
UW isn't winning shit. Good luck the rest of the way with the fat lesbos and Karen Ramming in charge. Embarrassing train wreck. Glad you're on board with a loser program. Some of us remember and demand excellence

Dude we post pictures of our stadium and circle jerk over it while Bama buys Tua and Najee family houses. We were doomed to begin with hth.
You guys are acting like buying players is a novel concept with NIL. Teams that care always have, they just don’t have to hide it now.
All the NIL is, is the payment of players with an outside corporate name behind it. Set up a corporation, dump money into it, and send it to prospects and existing players. If Jackson St can outbid Florida st for a top recruit, then any power 5 school can get anybody they want if the price is right.
Imagine the Free Pub if Sonic sold some of his Bitcoin, and Derek and the rest of you pooled money together. Sign a Hardcore Husky NIL to one single top recruit.

I tend to agree. I don't think NIL by itself is what dooms CFB. Allowing kids to leave whenever they want, combined with other schools now being able to buy them off and use lesser schools as their farm system, is the problem. Fixing the portal with terms regarding how many transfers you can make, how long you have to wait to transfer, etc will take care of a lot of the current problems.

As it stands now they can make just 1 transfer without sitting out.

The reason the SEC has been the loudest opponent for NIL is that it has brought more schools into it. Thus, raising the price for the players. SEC teams used to be able to buy players with $500 a week stipends and a $25k signing bonus from local car dealerships. Now, these same players want $1-$2 million annually.

Rex Chapman claims his dad was offered 500 grand and that was quite some time ago
This must be the “coming up with reasons to emotionally detach from the sport entirely (the whole sport is doomed!!!!) because their program is trash” stage of grief. Cfb still gonna be rolling a decade from now despite your take my ball and go home manifestations.

Meanwhile, in Montlake...
