I don’t understand how this works. Always envisioned this as a thinly veiled front for paying for recruits but I thought you had to be slightly creative and structure endorsement deals paid for by local companies. Can you actually just openly tell a kid you will pay them, or a booster will pay them, to transfer to your school?

College football used to be fun.

My first thought was no way does Charlie Batch have access to a million dollars to give away, not when he has the same Sharpie barber as this guy

My second thought was to figure out what the fuck is GameAbove, why would they hire Charlie Batch unless their business model was making Barry Sanders retire, and why do they care about EMU football? The mystery of why they’re not the EMU Emus will have to wait for another day.

Answer: some douche named Keith Stone (sounds fake) claims to have worked for GE in South America (cocaine?) and founded a B2B payment company called CSI (sounds like a CIA shell company for smuggling cocaine) that is also somehow involved in freight (I’m almost certain it’s cocaine at this point). So central casting Keith Stone sells his CSI company for $600 million and starts a company called CapStone Holdings Inc.

Not to be confused with a lot of other bankrupt businesses called Capstone LLC or other similar names. It’s based in Florida (cocaine) and almost all of the listed employees are Stone family members or EMU grads, Keith Stone is an EMU grad, minus someone who claims to be a former Florida State cheer captain and a former cruise ship singer. One guys job is being the liaison between EMU and whatever Game Above is.

CapStone supposedly invests in emerging tech startups and cannabis businesses - the only record of which I could find are various PR sites where you submit your own unverified business articles, pay them, they publish and SEO it. Sun Chao is actually a real lecturer at EMU and is listed as the founder of Back Office Studios. Which sounds like where teens get banged for POV pornos but is something much more vile: a work space you rent if you’re a sicko that doesn’t have an office but wants to work around other people. Disgusting. Also, there are two legit PhDs, one employed by EMU as an associate professor, Dr. Diana Wong. Something about Sun Chao doesn’t add up. He came from China nine years before CapStone was founded, yet he is an avid football fan - and he’s not a Pac-12 fan? Suspicious. His educational history is also a bit of a mystery, as EMU lists him having a certificate from them but he claims a masters on the pervert workspace place. I’m almost certain he wrote a review of himself on RateMyProfessor, because I’ve never felt the need to comment on how very good and totally understandable my professors accent is, and how I’m sure he’s definitely not connected to a CIA cocaine smuggling operation.

I’ll have to dig into this more. Why would the CIA use cocaine money to do something with Eastern Michigan University? Why publicly pursue Caleb Williams? Most shocking of all, did Kaleb DeBoor know about this?

Judging by his wife she has nothing to do with cocaine or other stimulants, but what about this guy? Here’s him when he first got to Eastern Michigan:
