S/O Courtney Morgan that 2 star he evaluated and we took last class from Michigan Jayvon Parker looks like he could be something. He's flashed quite a few times in the second half of the season.

That would really be something. Imagine him not having to replace his three best players via the portal and how much easier that makes the offseason job of addressing other weaknesses.
I'll believe it when I see it though. I don't know if that's the right call for any of them (I'm including Penix as the third), but that's not my problem and I don't actually care what's best for the kids. I don't like them except when they're making good plays in games.
Rome is good, but no way is he a 1st round talent right now. Hopefully this is actually an indicator that he knows Penix is coming back.
Doesn't have great hands and perhaps not a killer route runner. He can dominate at this level because he is a rangy and strong athlete, with speed and size.

His brother is supposed to be the better one too
Yeah, Jaivon's only other offer was Grand Valley State. I don't know if they even give scholarships. His brother was offered by Illinois
It's pretty fucking crazy. The two guys who actually played from last year's shit-tier recruiting class are the two least heralded recruits (the other being Javion Green who was mistaken for a walk on when he committed because he was so far off the radar)
Rome is a great player. I think the one thing I'd say I haven't seen from him is using his size and asserting himself physically. To be a first round guy he needs to show that he can use his size to beat press coverage and "out physical" smaller players. He's already a good jump ball guy.

It's actually a fucking miracle any of these players stuck around through 2021

He's not huge though. See him as a 3rd rounder.
