Taulapapa was also a captain on the UVa team, so he also can fill a leadership roll on the offense that would otherwise be lacking. That's important for the coaches in establishing a new culture and creating an example for the younger players to strive for.bananasnblondes said:

That said, I hope he's productive since his UVa film wasn't super exciting. He must be charismatic to be voted captain when he wasn't a starter in 2021. -
I watched a few uva games last year. He looked pretty crappy as a playmaker. Too bad we couldn’t get their qb. We never get nice things.whatshouldicareabout said:

I hope Rosengarten gets the nod at LT against Kent State. He's gonna start at tackle sooner or later, would be nice to see him on the field and making progress.whatshouldicareabout said:

I think he might end up sharing snaps pretty extensively with Nixon if he's as good catching out of the backfield as the coaches say.
