But how much chi com and pharma money does one man need? -
Generational wealth for the future and finally, FINALLY, nationally recognized power and adulation in the present. Why retire? His dreams of people actually listening to him have finally all come true.RaceBannon said:As someone pointed out the fact that this piece of shit is still there at 81 when he could bank 350K a year says a lot. We have to pay that kind of money and benefits in order to attract the best people. Like the diversity administrator at Cal, Fauci could make far, far more money in the private sector.

Private sector is always demanding success and resultsSFGbob said:We have to pay that kind of money and benefits in order to attract the best people. Like the diversity administrator at Cal, Fauci could make far, far more money in the private sector.
Really unfair -
The feds must be pissed their CA counterparts have been laughing at how little they make. Fuck janitors in San Jose and life guards in LA make twice as much.

Hopefully he’ll die before he collects

Anthony Fauci and the federal government have nothing on the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) system.
Following are a list of former football coaches at University of Oregon and what they were collecting per year as of January 1, 2021:
Mike Bellotti, Former HC, OC and AD: $592,886;
Nick Aliotti, DC, $281,185;
Gary Campbell, RB, $280,935;
Don Pellum, LB, $262,757;
Steve Greatwood, DL/OL, $206,796;
Zoumboukos, Neal, TE, AHC, $123,421.
As State of Oregon employees, these long-time Oregon coaches are entitled to these retirements with the requisite COLAs every year.
For example, Bellotti’s initial annuity was approximately $540,000/year; Aliotti’s was approximately $220,00/year.
How much did they contribute to PERS to receive annuities that are this large?
