So Oregon gets the OL coach from the NFL’s worst offensive line. Sounds great!

This screams Donovan hire. Fortunately, he’s only a position coach.

Oregon somehow managed to find a worse o line coach than Scott Huff

Hard to make a worse hire. He was so bad, the Steelers let him leave midseason, while still mathematically alive for the division title. Hopefully right when the Steelers said "Sure take him", Lanning learned he fucked up, and this will only be a one year hire. But that's the quook in me talking. Lanning fucked up on this one.

It's possible to assemble a staff that can both recruit and coach. Someone should tell Lanning. He'd really have me shaking my head if I were a fan. It's like he's all in on recruiting but isn't even evaluating the past results of some of these guys. He's hiring guys that, to me, are a step down from the tier that UO has the resources and appeal to be hiring from.

I like the Tosh hire, indifferent to the OC, but hate this newest addition.

He was meh at UW. I dont think he was committed, but that went for the whole staff. He'll do better with the right staff. No idea if Oregon is on that track though.

This shit is gonna be horrible.

Lanning was a stretch to begin with. This is utter chaos. Zero adults in the room.

The guy is still coaching Georgia ffs while our former recruiting assistant or whatever the fuck he is is doing press conferences for our bowl game.

If this was Washington I’d be laughing my fucking ass off.

I see some of you dawgs have severe PTSD and are playing it cool but this is what you’ve been waiting for, some of you for most of your lives.

No one will give a shit come Jan. 10th that Lanning was still coaching at UGA.

His coaching hires are meh until they prove otherwise.

I’ll reserve critical judgement until spring ball.

Nobody “cares” now. It shows a lack of commitment to the dumbfucks who paid you 4+ million a year to run their program. He’s not coming over as a coordinator. He’s the CEO of Oregon football. Quit fucking around in Miami and do your job. This isn’t even my biggest concern.

Good grief. He’s the DC for a team in the playoffs, not the Alamo Bowl.

Popo says he’s coming back after conversations with Lanning. When is this guy going to start doing the job he’s paid to do?
