Reason UW has been shitty in recruiting last 2 years is 1000% on former HC and Assistants.
SO tired of us blaming our woes on big bad Oregon. Nothing Prehm lays out is wrong. Numbers are what they are.
If you don't like (just like WSU QB planting the flag at Apple Cup) don't let them drag you up and down the field like rag dolls and on recruiting trail. -
I actually don't disagree with Eklund here. The rumors of Mario spreading racist allegations are pretty well-documented at this point, and are about as close to "fact" as you'll ever get with anything as veiled as off-the-record conversations between coaches and recruits. That the other conference coaches despised him is also pretty common knowledge.
And yeah, it's obviously the usual doogman #profileincourage to only assert that Pete and Lake didn't do enough to combat it after they're both gone, but it's still true nonetheless. Mario gamed the shit out of them on the recruiting trail and they were completely feckless against it. -
That screed took a lot of guts, now that MC is 3000k miles away. What will Eklund’s crying game be when DL’s staff of young bucks get a cycle under their belts and drag UW on the trail. Again.

Regardless, just another indictment on Jimmy. How does a black coach allow another coach to paint his school as racist? That's a softball for Jimmy to smash, and he whiffed. Did Mario convince recruits that Jimmy was a distant relative of Clayton Bigsby?
