Zero yards on six carries and 3 catches for 44 yards v. West Linn before injury in the 2nd. West Linn won 45-6.
Sounds like ND is trying to move away from him. I like Tybo a lot better but I imagine we lose 4 RBs after this year so might as well take him if we can.
Apparently there's talk in Duck land that RB Byron Cardwell may redshirt the rest of the year and transfer. Might be a guy worth looking at
I'd be all for that but he's got to be able to block, run routes and catch. I'm pretty sure Cam Davis isn't the feature back right now because of blocking and route running. Keep Penix upright and run the appropriate depths in the route tree for proper spacing. He's clearly got a higher upside as a runner than Papa but something his whole career has always kept him as a #2 or lower.

Would definitely take him since there's going to be RB spots on the roster open and he's probably comparable, if not better, than Davis.
The program needs to step it up though. Looking at the Pac-12's best running backs this year, they're all portal and they're all not the Papa/Cardwell types who have been just ok at other schools.
Charbonnet - Starter at Michigan Dye - Career production guy at Oregon Valladay - Basically ran for 1,000 yards plus three years in the Mountain West Irving - 700 yards and 5+ per-carry as a freshman at Minnesota

Lol. Please happen. His parents will surpass ramming as all-time enemy #1 of HH
He'd be stupid not to. Irving and Whittington have the touches on lockdown right now. The Oregon RB room might not have the top 2 duo like they had with Smith/Morris, James/Blount, James/Barner, but this is the first time I can remember where Oregon is 4-5 deep at the position. Crazy deep.
