Oregon: Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning has been hired as Oregon's head coach, a source tells 247Sports. The news was first reported Friday by Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution but several outlets refuted the report until Saturday afternoon.
Oklahoma: Former Troy defensive coordinator Brandon Hall is joining Brent Venables' staff as an assistant coach at Oklahoma, sources tell Football Scoop. Hall served three seasons as Troy's defensive coordinator and was the interim head coach when Chip Lindsey was fired near the end of the regular season. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a bachelor's and master's degree, and was on the Sooners' staff in a variety of roles as a student assistant and quality control coach from 1998 through 2005.
Troy: Jon Sumrall is keeping assistants Al Pogue, Bam Hardmon and Gary Banks on his staff, a source tells 247Sports.
Penn State: Former Miami coach Manny Diaz has been hired as Penn State's defensive coordinator. He replaces Brent Pry, who recently was hired as Virginia Tech's head coach.
Duke: Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko has officially been introduced as head coach at Duke.
Dec. 10Virginia Tech: Louisville assistant Stu Holt has been hired as Virginia tech's special teams coordinator and offensive assistant.
Oklahoma: Brent Venables announced his first two assistant coaching hires Friday, naming Jeff Lebby as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and Ted Roof as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Venables is retaining Cale Gundy, Bill Bedenbaugh, DeMarco Murray and Joe Jon Finley as well.
Oregon: Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning is expected to be announced Monday as Oregon's head coach, reports Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, but sources tell 247Sports' Matt Prehm the report is inaccurate. Stay tuned.
Duke: Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko is now the leading candidate at Duke, reports Carl Reed of 247Sports. We reported earlier this week Tony Elliott and Elko had emerged as the top targets, and now with Elliott heading to Virginia, Elko rising to the top makes sense.
BYU: BYU coach Kalani Sitake has signed a new "unprecedented" contract to remain at BYU through the 2027 season, the school announced. He was briefly pursued by Oregon following a 10-2 season that included five wins against Pac-12 teams.
Ohio State: Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles signed a three-year contract worth $1.9 million per year at Ohio State. He was reportedly offered a five-year deal worth $1.3 million annually to remain at Oklahoma State.
Virginia: Virginia has hired Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliott to lead the program.
Louisiana Tech: Louisiana Tech is adding Stephen F. Austin assistants Marcus Walker and Nathan Young to coach the cornerbacks and offensive line, respectively, and TCU assistant Dan Sharp has been hired as special teams coach, reports Chris Vannini of The Athletic. Running backs coach Brock Hays and outside linebackers coach Anthony Camp will remain at the school.

Oregon: Florida State offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham has accepted Oregon's offer as the next OC, a source tells 247Sports. The deal has been in the works for several days.

LSU/Kentucky: Brad White has turned down overtures from LSU and will remain at Kentucky as Mark Stoops' defensive coordinator. Stoops made the announcement during a telethon raising money for tornado relief efforts in Kentucky. White is also donating his bonus from the bowl game to the relief efforts, Stoops said.
North Texas: Quarterbacks coach Blake Joseph is out after one season at North Texas, a source tells 247Sports.
Washington: Former Indiana offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan has been hired as tight ends coach at Washington, reports Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports.
Florida State: Head coach Mike Norvell has agreed to a one-year contract extension through 2026 at Florida State.
Clemson: Dabo Swinney is staying in house with his replacements at offensive and defensive coordinator while also filling their roles with other members already on staff. Quarterbacks coach Brandon Streeter has been promoted to offensive coordinator and senior defensive assistant Wes Goodwin has been bumped up to defensive coordinator. They replace Tony Elliott and Brent Venables, who recently took over the head-coaching jobs at Virginia and Oklahoma, respectively. Safeties and special teams coach Mickey Conn removes the special teams tag and adds co-defensive coordinator duties, Kyle Richardson bumps from an off-the-field role to coach tight ends and cornerbacks coach Mike Reed adds the title of special teams coordinator.
LSU: LSU passing game coordinator DJ Mangas has been fired by Brian Kelly and analyst Carter Sheridan has been elevated to the on-field staff for the Tigers' bowl game against Kansas State, reports Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.
LSU: Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White has emerged as the top candidate to lead Brian Kelly's defense at LSU, reports Football Scoop.
FAU: FIU cornerbacks coach Brandon Harris is joining FAU to coach cornerbacks, reports Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.
Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry has promoted Pierson Prioleau to safeties coach. He was previously the director of player development on defense.
Georgia Southern: Georgia Southern is hiring a trio of former Washington assistants, reports Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports. Will Harris (defensive coordinator), Rip Rowan (defensive line) and Aaron Schwanz (linebackers) are joining Clay Helton’s staff.

Colorado State: Montana State defensive coordinator Freddie Banks is expected to be hired as Colorado State's new defensive coordinator, reports FootballScoop.com.
Washington State: Former Virginia running backs coach Mark Atuaia and former Texas Tech outside receivers coach Joel Filani are joining Washington State's staff, reports Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports.
UCF: UCF quarterbacks coach GJ Kinne is in line to be hired as the next head coach at Incarnate Word, a source tells 247Sports.
Duke/Rutgers: Rutgers defensive coordinator Robb Smith's contract was allowed to expire and he is expected to be introduced later this week as Duke's coordinator, reports James Kratch of NJ.com.

USC: Texas A&M offensive line coach Josh Henson is headed to USC to coach the offensive line on Lincoln Riley's staff, reports Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports.
Syracuse: Virginia appears set to lose two staffers soon as Tony Elliott transitions to head coach and the staff under outgoing coach Bronco Mendenhall continues to shift into a new era. Robert Anae, who stepped down last week, has been targeted to be Syracuse's next offensive coordinator and current quarterbacks coach Jason Beck is also being targeted by the Orange to join the staff as quarterbacks coach, reports Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports. A person familiar with the situation tells 247Sports a third staffer is likely on his way out at the end of this week, though it's not believed he is being targeted by Syracuse. Stay tuned.
Texas: Longhorns receivers coach Andre Coleman has been fired by coach Steve Sarkisian, reports Horns247.
Wake Forest: Lyle Hemphill, now officially hired at Duke, will not coach Wake Forest's defense against Texas A&M in the Gator Bowl on New Year's Eve. Demon Deacons coach Dave Clawson says "our staff will collectively fill his role" for the bowl game.

SMU: Liberty defensive coordinator Scott Symons has been hired to the same position at SMU, a source tells 247Sports.
Washington: The Huskies confirmed five hirings Saturday evening, including four on-field staffers at Fresno State, which is fresh off a win against UTEP in a bowl game.

Colorado State: Mater Dei High coach James Finley has been hired as Colorado State's receivers coach, according to multiple reports. Finley played receiver at Oregon.Texas: Tashard Choice is expected to be hired as Texas' running backs coach, according to On3. Choice recently left Georgia Tech to be USC's running backs coach on Lincoln Riley's staff but he's instead off to Austin to join the Longhorns.
Idaho: South Dakota State offensive coordinator Jason Eck is expected to accept Idaho's offer to be head coach, according to multiple reports. 247Sports reported Wednesday Eck as Idaho's pick as head coach.
Auburn: Auburn has hired Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Austin Davis as offensive coordinator, a source tells 247Sports. An official announcement is coming today.
Virginia: Offensive coordinator Robert Anae has left the staff at Virginia, pushing quarterbacks coach Jason Beck to call plays in the upcoming Fenway Bowl against SMU, according to the Richmond Times Dispatch.
UMass: Michigan analyst Steve Casula has been hired as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at UMass.

Duke: Wake Forest defensive coordinator Lyle Hemphill is expected to join Mike Elko's staff at Wake Forest as safeties coach, according to multiple reports.
Oregon: Ducks coach Dan Lanning announced Friday the hiring of Baylor safeties coach Matt Powledge as the Ducks’ co-defensive coordinator.
Colorado: Former Minnesota offensive coordinator Mike Sanford has been hired as Colorado's offensive coordinator.
Washington: Washington has hired Vanderbilt defensive line coach Inoke Breckterfield to the same position and former Indiana quarterbacks coach Nick Sheridan as tight ends coach. Receivers coach Junior Adams and offensive line coach Scott Huff have been retained by newly-hired head coach Kalen DeBoer.
Oklahoma: The Sooners made three hires official today with Jerry Schmidt (strength coach), former defensive assistant Brandon Hall (safeties) and former Clemson defensive assistant Miguel Chavis (defensive ends).
Florida State: Florida State is promoting analyst Tony Tokarz to quarterbacks coach, a source tells 247Sports. He previously served as tight ends coach at Memphis.

FAU: UMass running backs coach Donte' Pimpleton is expected to join FAU as running backs coach, reports Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.
Florida State: Offensive line coach Alex Atkins has been promoted to offensive coordinator at Florida State.
Virginia Tech: Georgia State offensive coordinator Brad Glenn has joined Brent Pry's staff at Virginia Tech as quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
