Wasn't Oregon 11-2 last year? If they truly underachieve this year then bombs away but until then the Helfrich bashing is a little silly.

it's the trend line. Kelly blew a game here and there, but shitting the bed wasn't his style. for example, the loss at home to SC. Lee had the game of his career (which is saying something) and Barkeley was on fire. And even then Oregon was a short field goal away from tying it in the end.

compare/contrast to last season's Furd and Arizona losses.

    they are different coaches.

that said, there is often some fumbling with transition. as there was with Kelly himself. time will tell.

my guess is Helfrich is a short timer.

THIS. The Quooks are just trying to act like us to fit in.

Difference is we had to endure Boobs, NAACP and Dude Brah for 11 fucking years. Went 12-47 over a five year stretch.

So when they start doing that then they can come cry to us.

Helfrich is no Kelly but like you said went 11-2 which is nothing to laugh at.

Larry Coker wants to know if you know of any openings in Division 1.

    This.

Helfrich is Coker/Carr without the national title.

Not saying Helfrich is a good coach but if you can't see that the Ducks in here are trying to impress us I can't help you.

They act like he's Dude Brah or Try.

Fuck even Lambo couldn't go 11-2, he fell on his ass immediately going 7-4 three straight years.

Helfrich is in LIFPO mode, he's like early David Shaw. Not horrible, not his predecessor, year 2-3 will be when he puts his mark on the program.

Race should photo shop Darron Thomas in the background saying "We smoked it all" and Cliff Harris with a McRib in his hand.

The game against Michigan State will be a big test for them. MSU is going to come in and punch them in the mouth so it will be interesting to see how the Zeros respond.

Allegedly, their OL has been hitting the weights hard after getting exposed by Stanford and Arizona on the road. We didn't quite have the front 7 to fuck Mariota up but only Fui is gone and he'll probably be replaced by Feeney (I liked Fuiamaono but Feeney's ceiling is significantly higher).

For the first time since I can remember, we won't (as of now) have an underclassman starting in the front 7:

    DE: Jamora (RS-SR)
    NT: Shelton (true SR)
    DT: E. Hudson (RS-SR)
Rush: Corey Littleton (true JR) or Josh Shirley (RS-SR), or Andrew Hudson (if more of a traditional 4-3 and he's an RS-SR)

    OLB: Feeney (RS-JR)
ILB: Timu (grayshirted and now a true SR)
    Rover: Shaq (true JR)

Peters is going to have to lead the secondary big-time though I like our young talent there and should get broken in fairly easily with our cupcake OOC.

First off, Race (RIP) worked really hard on that photoshop. Seeing Helfrich with the beard combined with the Oregon weed farmer pic some HHB posted a while back was just too good to pass up. I never kid when I say "right click, save as..."

Secondly, I agree that the general sentiment with Helfrich should be LIFPO, but there are disturbing signs coming out of Eugene. Going away from what we did that worked does not strike me as a winning strategy. When what we did for 4 years was beat the shit out of pretty much everyone and make it to 4 BCS Bowels in 4 years, the adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" really should apply.

Part of UCLA's basketball success after Wooden left in 1975 was the subsequent coaches keeping the program running like Wooden's. UCLA did not have to fire a basketball coach until 1988. I would like to see Oregon stay humming, and what I saw last year didn;t just give me doubts, it gave me nausea. Last year's team, coached by Chip Kelly, hoists a crystal football. It fucking kills me that he left when he did.

But yeah, 11-2 is a nice record. Our quality wins were UCLA, you guys, Texas, and...

Oh yeah, and Texas basically fired their coach and you guys should have but Pat Haden FS saved your asses.

Not saying Helfrich is a good coach but if you can't see that the Ducks in here are trying to impress us I can't help you.

Disagree. We aren't bashing Helf to look cool. We're bashing him because he sucks ass and is the next dude brah. If you can't see that just by looking at the expression on his face then I can't help you either.

What are you doing? You can't be talking X's and O's up in here. New guys and sandy vags only expect us to make fun of Good Guy, 81% and F3. Straighten up or LEAVE!

Yeah but are they all staying together this summer and working out? Will this be the most cohesive team they have ever had? Are workouts more intense than ever?

    That's why they are nervous.
