I don't see why anyone wouldn't raise a little cash, especially holdings that don't pay a dividend. The Fed is slowing their virtual printing presses and interest rates will tick up.
From what I gather, this Omincron variant is more infectious, but thankfully milder, than the original Wuhan virus so most people who are not vaccinated (and some who are) will feel something similar to a common cold and thus not clog the ERs / ICUs. So the worst case scenario is off the table and that should also provide upward pressure on rates.
Of course if I absolutely knew where interest rates are going, I would be taking out a 2nd mortgage and not talking about it here haha.
