There are good football coaches that don't win natties every other year. There are shit coaches that luck into it.
I'm reminded of my dad (he was a Cowboys fan) going off that "Jimmy Johnson is horse shit" after his first year with Dallas (1-15). I reminded him that Tom Landry went 0-11-1 his first year. Just because we don't know most (if any) of these guys, other than wikipedia, doesn't mean they are shitty. Doesn't mean they are good either. That's why we play the games.
Sorry for the rant, but if this hire fails, it goes directly to what most, if not all of us have suspected, if not already believe...upper campus has what they want in the AD.

I like this. Even if he sucked as an OC, getting a P5 OC as a TE coach means we're getting experience. No more guys getting moved from the secretary's desk to being a first time on-field coachinsinceredawg said: -
