Sure it was against a different scheme, coach, a mobile QB, and we had better personnel that was better coached back then but hey, let’s roll out again.
In general we look like a team who doesn't practice.
Our offense looks like the player's were handed a playbook of random plays to study and never actually practice. Its rare to see a team unable to execute anything well, absolutely zero identity at all. We're just out there calling plays.

Never forget Jimmy told the DM mods that JTT loved Bob and he was the main reason they were in it til the end. Not only did the mods regurgitated this ridiculous rumor, they charged $10.95 for it.

I couldn't stop laughing when I read that.
Yes this is extremely hilarious because everyone knows no one loves Bob... except CP for some weird reason.

I don't remember ever seeing a group of coaches that was this schematically overmatched.
Numerous games where the first 1-2 offensive drives produced points, and as soon as opposing DCs identified the game plan and adjusted, we were immediately neutralized and spent the rest of the game trying the same shit to no avail, seemingly surprised at how ineffective we were.
Not to be outdone, Bob clearly had no defensive identity of his own outside of what Kwat gave him, and he just ran what he was familiar with. The ASU and WSU were particularly egregious, but just about every opposing offense ran against us at will while we continued to stubbornly trot out the wrong personnel, time and time again.
Casual fans like us should not be able to diagnose this sort of ineptitude, but John Don, Adams, Gregory, Malloe, and of course Jimmy himself, really were that dumb.
Smart innovative coaches are rare. Probably 10 % or less. The rest are just monkey see monkey do meatheads. All of ours are the latter. Once Pete and Kwat left nobody had any idea wtf to do. Our big hire was JonDon, a guy who couldn't pour piss out of a boot with the directions on the heel.
