To be fair I don't recall him running on "I will block counties from having mask/vaccine requirements." I thought he ran on exactly what he is doing - letting the counties decide what they want to do. Which I support btw. I always believe in local government over state government, and state over federal, etc. Still a pussy though.

Virginians can expect a shift in vaccine and mask mandates once Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin is sworn in.

After his inaugural ceremony on Jan. 15, Youngkin said he will not mandate masks and vaccines but–unlike some Republican governors–he will not attempt to block localities from implementing their own requirements.

Biggest thing that a conservative do is say "No, phuck No". When the air traffic controllers went on an illegal strike (just before the Post Office union contract was coming up) Reagan said your fired. Now, this wasn't the kabuki theater that government unions were used to. It was go on an illegal strike, then settle with a complacent government and get back pay. When US servicemen were killed in a Germany disco bombing plotted by the Libyans, Reagan dropped a bomb on Gaddafi's encampment.
