He's probably as relieved as the rest of us. He assuredly knew things weren't going well and rather than uncontrolled freefall he got a parachute. Until recently he probably did have a lot of great experiences at UW so this actually didn't even strike me as a contrived classy post.

He is getting $10 Million over the next few years to do nothing after putting the program in a free fall. He has no reason to be sour.
