    Bob Stoops would be an unmitigated disaster as a coach. His teams are soft and he could never win the big one. He peaked 10 years ago.

    Stupidest fucking post I've read in awhile. Even if your memory is shit you could still bother to check Wikipedia.

    5 BCS bowl wins, a national championship, and absolute domination of his conference say he's pretty fucking good.
    In won it in 2000 13-2 against FSU who shouldn't have been there.

    He won 10 conference championship in 17 years. Kill yourself
    The Big 12 is an abortion of a conference. Winning that conference is like saying your the worlds tallest midget.

    Stoops I believe made his bones as the D-Coordinator for those great Steve Spurrier Gator teams. So if the rumors are true and went that direction the offense would be the question mark.

    His OU teams from what I recall were known for their offensive prowess. The defense tended to be the achilles heel.
    His defenses were very good 15 yrs ago. Then he got soft and didn't give a shit anymore. His teams were unprepared for big games. He may have won 5 BCS games but 2 of those were against a 4 loss Auburn team and a 4 loss UConn team. His 7 BCS losses were by an average of 17 pts. His opponents averaged 38 pts in those games.

    @RaceBannon is back on Doogman!

    I'm sure Kim or Fatters will make that go *poof* in a few minutes.

    He's still at least a top 15 coach, possibly a top 5 coach. It would be silly not to go out and get him.

    His offensive style will fit Huard perfectly. The problem is he didn't give a shit about defense his last 5 or so years at OU. If he solves the defense I will like the move.

    That's carried over. They're still winning. There are a few guys who might be better but not many. I'll take 10-2 over this shit fest.

    Going back to 2006 til he resigned in 2016, he produced 3 defensive players that were taken in the the first 2 rds of the NFL Draft. Yikes. Offensively a much different story.
