His defenses were very good 15 yrs ago. Then he got soft and didn't give a shit anymore. His teams were unprepared for big games. He may have won 5 BCS games but 2 of those were against a 4 loss Auburn team and a 4 loss UConn team. His 7 BCS losses were by an average of 17 pts. His opponents averaged 38 pts in those games.insinceredawg said:

Going back to 2006 til he resigned in 2016, he produced 3 defensive players that were taken in the the first 2 rds of the NFL Draft. Yikes. Offensively a much different story.
