UW Baseball Wins 10th Straight

Sweeps USC with a 8-3 win in 14 innings. Busted open the 3-3 game with 5 runs in the 14th.

I read a Greggg Bell story yesterday and the consensus from everyone involved is that the baseball team wouldn't have the new stadium or this success if not for the better than expected revenues from football.

I watched the opener last Friday against AZ. Looked good. Ballpark is finally respectable.

Should help stoppin the WA kids from going to places like Oregon St/Oregon and Wazzu.

I know a lot of people say the facilities talk is overrated in recruiting, but that baseball field was so fuckin' embarrassing for a DI program.

Nice to see them playing well.

According to the players its the facilities that come with the park, like practice facilities and such. Its that more so than the actual field/park. What they had before was a joke.

Hey if temporary wood bleachers can pass as a permanent structure in the east endzone, it sure as shit can pass for the baseball infield.

only in the liberal NW do softball stadium upgrades create a trickle down into the more barbaric sports of football and baseball.

I swear, if some fucktards in UW's admin and faculty had their ways, men everywhere would be injected with estrogen to level the proverbial playing field

Don't worry, that's Title X, and it will be implemented soon enough.
