I actually looked this up today and was surprised to find out that it appears you are correct. I don't agree with it, but my reading was that employers can ask about vaccination status without violating HIPAA. Which seems weird. Why have it if the only people it applies to are health care workers and not private employers? Still, it appears at present dipshit employers can legally ask.
Big Gov't wants to protect your private healthcare info, until they don't. Can't wait until it's okay for employers and orgs to have access to your BMI and you can be forced to meet federally mandated BMI guidelines or you're denied insurance or pay extra because you've become a drain on finite HC resources.
