TV guys were saying Jimmy is a great coach and he emphasized to his team to stay calm and don’t make stupid mistakes. Then the Huskies open the game with multiple 15 yard penalties. And Jimmy melts down on the sideline. Nice.
Like we talked about, we know what the ultimate outcome is on his tenure and the only remaining question is how we’d get there. We all hope that the decisions get made based on merit and the talking points around Tyrone at the end of 2007 don’t resurface.
If there’s good news it is that Jimmy’s doing such a shitty job that there’s really no commentary to date about anything other than his performance.
1) hiring Jen 2) promoting Lake 3) hiring Donovan 4) promoting Gregory 5) starting Morris 6) recruiting 7) popping off to the media and not backing any of it up 8) not firing Donovan.
The Oregon game: 1) TOS to end the first half 2) punching a player 3) not benching Morris 4) not throwing the ball down the field until the 4th (again) 5) allowing this shitty offense to continue 6) wtf quitting on the team and punting on 4th with 2 minutes left and only 2 TO. 7) abundance.

This is not if, it's a question of when for JL as head coach at UW. He's as much dead man walking as Donovan.
I thought the two "big wins" at UA and Stanford were enough to buy him 2022. After tonight's game, along with the incident with the player, I can see Cauce and the BOR looking at the situation and Cowen having to answer to them what HER PLAN is to turn it around, and don't think saying ..... well were going to get rid of the OC eat 900k and then eat another 4/5 contracts at 2-3 million total along with over spending that same amount to find equal (not better as that would cost even more $) Assistants is going to cut it.
Were 3 weeks away from the purge. Question is how many and how far up the flag pole does it go.

Its true most of the time. Lot of folks quit right before they would have been fired. Some had to be told
If you think you're going to have to fire someone then fire them. Waiting doesn't do either one of you any good
I think Jimmy fired himself this week. Didn't want to believe that but now I feel we owe it to him.
I'd put it in the it actually could happen category now
